Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting on behalf of an exciting and growing Tech business based in Manchester City Centre. The company has grown organically and operate in 17 countries, working with large, blue-chip companies. They are now seeking to recruita Finance Analyst with previous experience to join the finance team on a permanent basis.
This role will work within the finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller and Head of Commercial Finance to provide comprehensive analysis, reporting and insight to support the daily operations and running of the business. There will be a big focuson cost analysis as well as involvement in commercial and finance projects and ad-hoc work.
**Salary and benefits**:
Salary - £33,000 - £40,000 DOE plus CIMA/ACCA study support, remote and hybrid working options (need to be able to work out of Manchester office), employee share options, central offices in Manchester City Centre, 37.5 hour week (with flexibility between 8-6pm),32 days holiday PLUS bank holidays AND your birthday off, pension, private healthcare, life assurance and enhanced statutory pay.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Data analysis - analysing large data sets which are often complex, to look at profitability in various markets, across finance, sales, marketing and other departments
- Some assistance at month end with balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Power BI and SQL experience
- Assisting with modelling projects in finance and other areas of the business
- Working with BI to develop and automate analysis for operational information
- Support in business decision making across departments
- Assist at month end with producing P&Ls by product, revenue and cost analysis for board and investors, forecasting and reforecasting.
- Support in analysis for prospective new clients with expected profitability and delivery
- Business partner with all departments to support with business decisions and accept ad-hoc requests for information
- Other ad-hoc data/analysis/reporting work as required

**Experience & Skill Requirements**:

- Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA Analyst with an analytical and commercial accumen
- Experience working within a fast-paced accounts role
- Competent with Power BI (essential)
- Competent with SQL (beneficial)
- Very comfortable dealing with high volumes of processes and data through Excel and in particular effective data manipulation (including pivot tables and look-ups, etc)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally, with a confidence and ability to business partner
- Problem solving mindset, willing to find something out if you don’t already know
- Planning and organisational skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
