Developing talented people at the beginning of their careers is part of our core ethos. We are continually bringing new talent into our organization. Every year, SAS R&D in Scotland selects a number of interns to work with us for 10-12 weeks through summer. Starting dates may differ due to academic calendars through the last week of May.

**About the job**

The **product management team** are responsible for defining market-driven requirements and working with internal and external parties, including engineering teams, to deliver products that enable customers in financial services, government, healthcare and policing, to solve real business problems.

We see the internship program as an invaluable source of bright new talent - successful internships often result in job offers to return full-time after graduation.

As an intern, you will work on real releases for real customers under Agile and CI/CD methodologies. You will be integrated into a product team from Day 1, allowing you to learn from the highest calibre of talented and experienced R&D staff.

**You can expect to**:

- Define product requirements for enhancements and new features.
- Work with engineering, UX and UI designers, and other product management teams to define and design new features
- Conduct competitive research.
- Create product demonstrations
- Make a real difference - and get paid while doing it

**Required qualifications**

- You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

**Preferred qualifications**

Students of STEM or Business Faculties who:

- Are open and willing to learn.
- Want to make a difference.
- Are familiar with the software development lifecycle and basic computing concepts.
