**Title**: National Orthopaedic Alliance (NOA) Administrator

**Grade**: Band 3

**Hours**: Full Time (37 hrs per week)

**Responsible to**: NOA Deputy Director

Bank(1 year)

An exciting opportunity to work as team administrator for the National Orthopeadic Alliance, delivering an effective service supporting colleagues with the day to day running of the Alliance, administrative and logístical support to a range of areas, events and meetings.

As a member of the Support Team and the NOA, the post holder will contribute to the key objectives of the Alliance which include:

- Provision of a forum for information sharing and learning between members.
- Influencing the development of government and of other political parties’ health policy as it affects Orthopaedic care.
- Benchmarking performance nationally and internationally.
- Supporting moves to accredit services providers.
- Promoting orthopaedics through marketing, public relations and parliamentary activity.
- Exploring and, if it is potentially detrimental to patient care, challenging developments relating to the national configuration of services.

The job will be based in RHOH Stanmore or Home Worker, site will be dependent upon the location of the successful applicant

Educated to GCSE standard - Maths and English essential

NVQ3 level qualification or experience essential

Prior experience of office/project management.

Experience of the working within a multi-agency environment.

An understanding and knowledge of the workings of the NHS and the challenges it faces.

IT skills - Outlook Suite plus Teams and Zoom

Experience in monitoring Financial Accounts

Experience of strategic planning activity and reporting processes.

Report writing and minute taking skills.

Ability to work in a team environment and manage changing priorities

**The duties and responsibilities of the role are**:

- Take general telephone calls for the team and deal with general queries or forward to the appropriate team member.
- Maintaining the NOA database
- MAC
- Supporting the team, including the Director
- Provide additional support to The NOA Board and members as required
- Support the organisation of meetings and events including inviting and explaining arrangements to others and their PAs, finding venues/restaurants, managing travel arrangements and distributing papers.
- Preparing briefing documents
- Communicating with members/stakeholders
- Managing website Members Area registrations
- Supporting Zoom Event registrations
- Producing Post event reports
