**We’re keen to welcome an experienced Stock Coordinator to join our growing Central Operations team.**
**A little bit about us**:
VetPartners already form a very significant share of the UK Veterinary market, across equine, farm and small animal practices. Our mission is to deliver outstanding care for our patients and clients and be the Veterinary group of choice. From our Central Support Office in York, we support more than 7,000 people at over 550 Veterinary practice sites across the UK.
**Who we’re looking for**:
A Veterinary practice background will be required to fulfil this role to its potential - as familiarity with practice systems, suppliers and day to day running - should lend well to many of the responsibilities. The role will see you provide support pro-actively, alongside building positive relationships with our Veterinary practices in Farm, Equine, Small Animal, and other group businesses.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Coordinate the groups stock takes with the inclusion of; communicating to our practices/businesses, liaise with external suppliers and other Central Office departments for each stock take.
- Produce and continually update stock take/management resources. Plus, deliver training where necessary (either nationally at practice or virtually).
- Assist with supporting practices in advising and implementing effective stock management.
- Communicate and support with stock supply issues, working in collaboration with the Procurement team.
- Support the reduction of wastage within the group and assisting with transfer of stock where appropriate.
- Keep up to date trackers.
- Assist with or escalate any stock related queries.
- Within quieter periods, assisting with general operational queries, as part of the Central Operations Support Team.
**About You**:
- Veterinary Stock management background - essential
(Within Small animal, Equine and Farm animal setting. Plus, RAMA/ RVN qualification
- desirable)
- Confident communicator to deliver bespoke training - essential
- VMD compliance and regulations knowledge, including cascade and Controlled Drugs (desirable)
- Project management - desirable
- Excellent Microsoft skills, in particular Excel
- Approachable, pro-active
- Proven ability in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-changing environment
- Team Player
- Prioritising important tasks, amongst a varied workload, will be key to the role
- English and Maths GCSE A-C/grades 4-9, or equivalent
- An outlook that reflects the VetPartners culture and values.
**About Our Benefits**:

Salary £23-26k dependant on skill set, experience, and qualifications.
Hybrid (home and office working) - with regular time spent in our York Central Support Office.
