**Location**: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
**Salary**:Up to £23,000 + benefit package worth £1,500 p/a
**Contract**: Full Time, permanent

**The Role**:
This role combines elements of both business development and account management, placing emphasis on the quality and accuracy of information provided to the client and recorded in the CRM system.
Working as administrative support, you will be tasked with supporting the field sales team, their customers and helping to review prospective new clients to add to their portfolio. As a key member of the VW team, you will support multiple Field Sales Managersto maintain their diaries, update the CRM with accurate and detailed information and speak directly with invested and new business customers.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Ensuring your opportunity pipeline is managed efficiently, supporting both new prospects and existing customers, and arranging regular meetings between them and the area fleet manager to discuss fleet terms as required.
- Assisting corporate level contacts for VW with diary management, monthly territory development meetings and any ad-hoc requests.
- Updating a CRM database with accurate fleet and contact information and utilising the corresponding reports.
- Looking at both Passenger and Commercial vehicle fleets, collaborating with a small team of three as an additional member of staff.
- Keeping on top of market trends, maintaining product knowledge and understanding current and future competitor products.
- Delivering agreed targets and KPI’s consistently and in line with client requirements.
- Excellent telephone manner and writing skills, with the ability to get to the root cause of customer’s or client’s issues/needs.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to manage a database (CRM experience will be beneficial).
- Good eye for detail, able to spot mistakes and missing information as well as potential new opportunities. Capable of responding to them quickly and accurately.
- Calm and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in cars/vans would be beneficial
- Maturity and confidence. The successful applicant should be able to build rapport well and instil confidence in both client and prospect.
- Strong organisation and self-starter skills with the ability to effectively self-manage.
- A professional, articulate, and presentable demeanour.
