**The Company**
Setting industry standards in new product development, the business is a renowned leader in its field and has continually developed new products and entered new markets since establishing itself around 15 years ago. Set to continue its profitable growth patternand increase market share which stems from its exceptional delivery of quality and customer service, our client is looking for an Internal Controls & Risk Manager to make a valuable contribution to this expansion.
**The Role**
You will report to the Head of Compliance and be responsible for establishing and implementing an internal control framework to ensure the business has the required rigour in their controls.
This is a newly created role for this high growth privately owned SME and it will provide the opportunity to play a key part in the on-going upwards trajectory of the business. Key responsibilities will include:

- Develop internal control framework to include all control documentation, audit program and reporting
- Implement controls and identify risks ensuring compliance working closely with stakeholders throughout the business
- Ensure end to end documentation of all risk and controls metrics promoting awareness of these throughout the business
- Once established, you will maintain and strengthen the internal control environment
- Undertake special projects working closely with the Head of Compliance and Head of Finance
- Proven experience within an internal controls and risk environment ideally with experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Ability to share in the development and growth of the internal control framework to ensure robust controls exist within the business
- Ability to identify associated risks and provide solutions to a wide range of audit issues
