Senior Aladdin Consultant

**About the Role**

As a **Senior Aladdin Consultant**, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and customizing the **Aladdin platform** to meet the strategic needs of the organization. You will focus on integrating Aladdin with various investment management systems, ensuring its effective use for portfolio management, risk analysis, and compliance workflows. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving performance improvements and ensuring the platform supports the organization's growth while meeting regulatory requirements.

You will:

- Lead the **technical deployment** and **customization** of **Aladdin** for key banking functions, including **portfolio management**, **trading**, **risk management**, **compliance**, and **reporting**.
- Integrate **Aladdin** with third-party systems such as **trading platforms**, **market data providers**, **risk management tools**, and **regulatory reporting systems**.
- Optimize **Aladdin’s performance**, ensuring the platform can handle complex analysis and large transaction volumes while maintaining high availability and low latency.
- Ensure that **Aladdin** is configured to meet both business needs and regulatory standards for investment management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Aladdin Implementation & Configuration**:

- Lead the **implementation** and **customization** of **Aladdin** to support investment management functions such as **portfolio analytics**, **trade order management**, **risk management**, and **compliance**.
- Configure **Aladdin’s modules**, including **Portfolio Management**, **Performance & Attribution**, **Risk Analytics**, **Trading**, and **Compliance**, to align with specific business requirements.
- Work with internal stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into **technical solutions** within **Aladdin**.
- **System Integration & API Management**:

- Design and implement **integrations** between **Aladdin** and third-party systems (e.g., **trading platforms**, **market data providers**, **risk management solutions**, and **compliance reporting tools**) via **Aladdin APIs** (REST/SOAP).
- Ensure seamless **data exchange** and synchronization between **Aladdin** and external systems to ensure accurate, real-time portfolio data, trade execution, and risk reporting.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create and maintain **data pipelines** and **integration frameworks** to ensure smooth operational flows across platforms.
- **Performance Optimization & Scalability**:

- Optimize the performance of **Aladdin** for high-frequency trading, large-scale portfolio analysis, and risk simulations to ensure the platform operates efficiently under varying transaction volumes.
- Conduct **performance tuning**, **stress testing**, and **capacity planning** to guarantee that **Aladdin** can scale with the growing demands of the business.
- Implement database and infrastructure optimizations to enhance the speed of trade execution and risk analytics.
- **Risk & Compliance Management**:

- Configure **Aladdin’s risk management** tools to ensure robust monitoring of risk exposures, including **Value at Risk (VaR)**, **stress testing**, and **scenario analysis**.
- Ensure that **Aladdin** is configured to automate **compliance checks**, including pre-trade compliance, post-trade reconciliation, and regulatory reporting (e.g., **MiFID II**, **Dodd-Frank**).
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that **Aladdin** meets regulatory requirements for financial reporting, ensuring the platform remains compliant as regulations evolve.
- **Post-Implementation Support & Maintenance**:

- Provide **technical support** for the **Aladdin** platform post-implementation, ensuring its continuous performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Lead **bug fixes**, **patch management**, and **upgrades** to ensure the platform remains up to date and performs optimally.
- Provide **user training** for internal teams, ensuring stakeholders can leverage the **Aladdin platform** effectively for portfolio management, trading, and risk analysis.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum 5 years of experience** as a **Senior Aladdin Consultant**, with in-depth hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing the **Aladdin platform**.
- Extensive experience with key **Aladdin modules**, including **Portfolio Management**, **Risk Management**, **Performance & Attribution**, **Compliance**, and **Trading**.
- Strong expertise in **Aladdin APIs** (REST/SOAP) and system integration, particularly with trading platforms, risk management solutions, and regulatory reporting systems.
- Proven ability to **optimize performance** and scale **Aladdin** for high-frequency trading, large-scale risk simulations, and complex portfolio management tasks.
