**Senior Carer**

**Role Requirements**
- Level 3 diploma in health and social care or prepared to work towards achieving.
- Medication administration training and previous experience in giving medications.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Able to work well with others and lead a team of carers.
- You must have a Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.

**Role Responsibilities**
- You will lead your team.
- You will take responsibility for your service users to ensure that a quality service is provided to meet their individual needs.
- You will manage an allocated group of staff, ensuring that regular supervision is provided and offering support and mentoring to ensure professional standards are maintained.
- You will be responsible for the development of relationship with individuals, relatives and other healthcare professionals in order to produce and support person centred care planning.
- Responsible for the safe management of medication for all service users.
- Administration and management of medication and undertake medication assessments.
- Undertake Spot Checks and carry out PPE Audits.
