A new opportunity has arisen for a CAD and Change Coordinator to join our Estates and Facilities Team.
**About the role**:
- Supporting the effective management and monitoring of our document control systems which will include obtaining Pre-Construction Information for new projects and as-built information from the contractors at completion.
- Leading on the assimilation of as-built project information into the document control system and ensuring that incoming information is in the correct format and standard.
- Providing support the Facilities Management Team with the day-to-day engineering compliance and CAFM systems on Campus.
- You will support the delivery of maintenance and capital projects across campus in a safe and organised manner.
- You will be responsible for ensuring Engineering Change Control processes are followed for each project and/or maintenance activities ensuring all suitable asset management information is provided, with particular focus on the control, suitability and organising of O&M/Health and Safety file information.
**Essential Skills**:
- A strong understanding of the importance of managing and controlling change in an FM/construction environment with an ability to read CAD drawings and experience of working within an Engineering, Facilities, Construction or M&E industry background
- A sound understanding and ability to use CAD systems to view, print and produce drawings and sketches.
- Excellent attention to detail, the ability to problem solve and liaise with multiple contractors and colleagues across the campus.
- A working knowledge of the UK Health and Safety legislation with an emphasis on CDM.
- Sound I.T skills which should include Outlook, Excel & Word
- Experience using Cloud-based IT systems
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels, and collaborate effectively.
- Self-motivated with a pro-active team approach.
**About the Team**:
Our Estates and Facilities Team maintain all aspects of the Campus which includes but is not limited to; Engineering, Compliance, Cleaning, Catering, Waste, Grounds, Wetlands Nature Reserve, Green Transport, Nursery, Energy, Waste, and Infrastructure (Major) Projects.
**Other Information**:
Salary in the region of £41,000 to £45,000
