Credit Controller

A market leading Financial Services company in Leeds are seeking 2 Credit Controllers to join their Credit Management team on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader you will have responsibility for:
*Forming and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
*Being the main point of contact dealing with payment queries and setting up repayment plans for customers.
*Checking customers credit, negotiating, and implementing payment terms.
*Ensuring customers are paying their balances and invoices on time, charging and chasing them for payment if not.
*Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant.
*Managing internal and external debt payment question and queries.
*Maintaining accurate records.
*Working with internal colleagues to ensure actions are carried out in a timely manner.
*Ensuring processes are followed effectively as part of the collection's requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to make a move to a fantastic company that offer flexible hybrid working and a positive approach to business. This role would be well suited for those with prior experience in a Credit Control environmentand also those with strong Customer Service/Relationship Management experience.
Ideally you will have:
*Proven past experience working within credit control or a similar finance background.
*Proven past experience of having strong customer service and relationship building.
*5x GCSE including Maths and English.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Proficient data entry and processing skills.
This role would be great for anyone in the Wetherby, Harrogate, Knaresborough or Leeds area with strong motorway links to the office and travel in only 3 times per week.
