**Job Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Research Coordination and Management**
- Oversee the development, execution, and progress of research projects focused on CCBP’s key areas, including design excellence, advanced materials, innovative methodologies, emerging technologies, and sustainability.
- Act as the primary contact between CCBP’s member organisations and academic institutions to foster a collaborative research environment.
- Ensure that research projects are conducted within established timelines and meet CCBP's standards of excellence.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Liaise with academic researchers, industry partners, and policymakers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Serve as the conduit between CCBP members and research teams to gather feedback, align expectations, and support the mutual exchange of knowledge.
**Knowledge Dissemination**
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of research findings through reports, presentations, seminars, and publications.
- Ensure that members have access to research insights and data that can inform best practices and contribute to advancing industry standards.
**Event and Seminar Support**
- Support the organisation of research-related seminars and conferences, aligning these events with CCBP’s strategic research objectives.
- Collaborate with event coordinators to highlight key research insights at CCBP events and ensure that speakers and panellists are well-briefed on current research projects.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Educational Background**: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. Experience in research coordination or project management within the construction or academic sectors is preferred.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex research findings to a variety of audiences.
- **Project Management**: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including academics, industry experts, and CCBP members.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection, and analysis techniques relevant to the built environment sector.
- **Problem-Solving**: Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve issues that may arise in the coordination of research activities.
