WHC Hire Services Ltd are currently seeking to recruit an additional Hire Desk Assistant to join our busy depot in Tewkesbury.

We offer a competitive rate of pay to applicants who display the required skills.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will provide an efficient and effective service on the Hire Desk to assist the company to provide a high-quality service to our customers.

Your key responsibilities may include:

- Dealing with enquiries and converting them into hire business
- Responsible for receiving orders (On-hires) and requests for collections (Off-hires)
- Calculation and supply of quotes
- Daily preparation of hire paperwork
- Answering incoming calls

The core requirements for this role are:

- Experience in a customer service role, preferable within a hire/sales environment
- A professional manner with good communication and people skills
- PC literate with experience of a wide range of computer systems
- Ability to prioritise work load and work to tight deadlines
- Local area knowledge for the depot areas served
- Motivated self-starter with good administration, time management and organisation skills
