We manage our products end-to-end and drive every aspect of the software engineering lifecycle. ***What would I be doing?** You will be the go-to person for architecting and implementing state-of-the-art automation pipelines that train, deploy to production, and retrain Deep Learning vision models and related software services at scale. Continuously transform and grow Ocado Advanced Technology offerings with new vision products and capabilities in the space of product recognition and process optimization. Use Deep Learning models and advanced MLOps tools running on both edge and cloud (AWS) infrastructure. **You will**: - Design, implement and operate automated pipelines for Data Engineering (data management, feature engineering, labeling, etc.), ML model training, retraining, and deployment for live and offline Deep Learning models. - Continuously evaluate MLOps tools and approaches and drive build or buy decisions in the Machine Vision space. - Foster impeccable code quality and code delivery processes including overseeing all aspects of design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases. - Provide guidelines and mentorship to other team members. - Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team and across teams. - Partner with the product teams to identify and deliver the next generation of products in the machine vision area. - Discover, evaluate, and implement new tools and practices. ***What we are looking for** - The ability to design and implement state-of-the-art MLOps pipelines to train, deploy and run ML Models at scale. - Proficient in implementing distributed production software systems with C++, Python, or Java (architecture, design patterns, testing, etc.). - Deep practical experience with cloud services e.g. AWS or GCP. - Extensive experience with Docker containers and container orchestration services. - Demonstrable experience in releasing and maintaining code in production ***This would make you stand out from the crowd** - Experience with VertexAI or ClearML will be considered a strong plus - Experience with GCP data services (BigQuery etc.) - Knowledge of ELK stack and New Relic - Experience with vision hardware - cameras and sensors - Experience in robotics or similar domain involving hardware, sensors, etc. ***Our Values** We champion a value-led culture to get our teams working at their very best and to help create a collaborative working environment with inspiring projects that our people love** **.**Core values** of Trust, Autonomy, Craftsmanship, Collaboration **and** Learn Fast** **help drive our innovative culture.
