**Job description**
We’re looking for a personable, determined and creative digital PR specialist to help us get amazing press coverage on behalf of our clients.
If you’re an ideas person with experience in getting backlinks and coverage from top-tier publications, we want to hear from you.
Working in our PR department, alongside other PR and content specialists, you’ll monitor journalist requests, brainstorm content campaigns, push proactive PR ideas and spot opportunities where clients can get involved.
You'll be adept to using online data sources to find unique angles and stories that suits clients in different industries, and thinking of appealing ways to both tell and display this data for your clients.
You’ll manage and lead on digital PR projects for a number of B2B and B2C clients, so versatility and an optimistic can-do attitude is a must, as well as the ability to work under pressure to hit ambitious link targets.
A strong, confident communicator, you’ll build relationships with clients, be able to convince them of digital best practice and convey authority in your work.
As well as this, you'll be expected to speak to journalists and bloggers on a day-to-day basis about campaigns, proactive ideas, providing quotes and offering product samples from ecommerce clients in exchange for reviews.
As a specialist or senior, you’ll be expected to be involved with clients from pitching, straight through to delivery. This may include creating digital PR proposals, strategies, attending in-person pitches and completing deliverables for a client.

**Core responsibilities**
- Building relationships with journalists and relevant individuals to generate client publicity opportunities, with a focus on backlinks to our clients' websites
- Monitoring press requests and trending topics to create reactive stories for press
- Ideating and implementing content campaigns across PR, onsite and social channels. This includes hosting brainstorms, analysing data, finalising a campaign, creating press lists and pushing a campaign
- Leading on a client, and being able to hit ambitious client link targets using different techniques.
- Auditing client and competitor activity to evaluate the success of projects and generate ideas for future content plans
- Researching press and influencer lists and keeping these up to date.
- Writing engaging press releases
- Pitching stories and opportunities to journalists and relevant individuals
- Analysing data and using digital tools to create interesting stories
- Collaborating with digital delivery & accounts teams to maintain best practice and efficiency
- Contributing to innovation within the agency, and thinking of new ways to improve the efficiency of the PR service offered at Liberty
- Proofing and sub-editing copy
**The ideal person**
- At least 2 years in a relevant PR-related role
- Experience in securing strong coverage for clients (evidence needed)
- Enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about digital coverage
- Strong understanding of PR and digital marketing best practice
- Strong data analysis skills
- Good understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Buzzsumo and Ahrefs
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
