As a Barclays Lead Cyber Operations Analyst, you will join the Global Information Security function. You will use your knowledge and experience to be a leader within a global team who are charged with defending the bank from a range of cyber threats. Inthis high exposure role, you will be collaborating with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of information security and privacy response services to the global retail and commercial enterprise.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of information security and privacy response services to the global retail and commercial enterprise
- Using a range of monitoring tools (e.g. SIEM), techniques and processes
- Carrying out endpoint detection and response tooling, forensic artefact recovery and analysis
- Using Intelligence Investigations, IOCs management and extrapolate adversary tools, techniques and procedures
- Building threat actor profiles and using Mitre to conduct threat hunting missions
- Creating detection rulesets (e.g. Yara) and configuration of toolsets
- Supporting purple Team testing efforts aimed at assisting in reducing identified risks via innovative detection Validating countermeasure effectiveness using dedicated control
**What we're looking for**:

- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience OR 7 years work experience or equivalent and relevant experience
- Experience in the area of malware analysis, incident response, network security, threat management, cloud security OR threat intelligence
- Willingness to work in an operational environment with occasional on-call support

- Demonstrable DevOps initiatives targeting capability uplift and automation in the field of Cyber Defense
- Demonstrable experience in countermeasure creation and deployment in response to evolving threats
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64-acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
