**Job Summary**
The Yardsman/woman plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the yard area. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with team members and customers while providing excellent service.

The shift pattern for this role is 2 days on, 2 days off with 12 hours per shift.

**Duties**
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the yard area, including regular sweeping, litter collection, and waste disposal.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services available on-site.
- Engage in upselling activities by promoting additional services or products to customers.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain records of inventory and customer interactions.
- Utilise effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls, ensuring a professional and courteous approach at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the yard area.
- Analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an advantage.
- Experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform data entry tasks with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in yard management or maintenance is beneficial but not essential.
