Role Overview

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will support product regulatory reporting requirements and analysis with a focus on improving the quality of the processes and strengthening the oversight of the work provided by - submission, review, QA’ing, analysis andmodernisation of Transaction Reporting

Some of the activities you will be involved with
- Perform daily regulatory reporting activity for MiFiD/ EMIR / SFTR transactions and post trade transparency
- Completion of day-to-day reporting activities including monitoring and resolution of transmission exceptions and reconciliations between source systems and ARM/NCA
- Remediation of exceptions by investigating, correcting and resubmission of erroneous reports
- Monitoring and analysis of ETD / OTC derivative transactions for reporting eligibility to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting
- Maintenance of static data required for accurate reporting
- Act as SME on all regulatory reporting matters for firm activities and projects
- Production of Management information and key performance indicators on reporting production and quality
- Participation in UAT and Implementation of new products and projects
- Produce processes and procedures for the day-to-day operating of Transaction Reporting

Experience we are looking for
- Experience across MiFiD II, EMIR, SFTR transaction reporting as well as other exchange specific reporting such as CME Large Trader Reporting, Commodity Position Reporting, and other exchanges
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory Transaction Reporting (MiFIR and EMIR)
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in exchange transaction/position reporting
- Experience across various asset classes including rates, credit, equities, derivatives, FX, Repo’s and SLB.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Quick learner with the ability to translate, understand and digest technical knowledge on Regulatory processes
- Proactive. Required to digest what is needed and make the role fit the needs
- Understand and be fully conversant with Regulatory Reporting rules
- Excellent communication skills: up/down/across
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills, escalating any issues accordingly
- Investigative and inquisitive nature; willing to challenge accepted practice
- Experience working on projects (with good organisational skills)
