We are looking to appoint a multi drop driver who will safely and professionally deliver items to our customers from 6:00 Monday to Friday in and around the Doncaster/Nottingham/ Hull area's

Experience is preferred as is a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points, you must be over 23 years old for insurance requirements. You will be provided with a van and all other equipment required to carry out the role effectively.

To safely drive a delivery vehicle to customer premises and/or meet points around the United Kingdom, complying with all road traffic regulations, ensuring all speed restrictions are adhered to.

Where appropriate, keep vehicle keys and cash secure at all times.

Cover other geographical areas in addition or instead of the usual nominated route, often at short notice to cover sickness and holidays.

To deliver goods to customers in a safe and professional manner.

To check the vehicle for any defects before starting the daily deliveries. Report defects to the immediate supervisor as soon as possible.

To ensure all parts are loaded safely in the back of the delivery vehicle.

To ensure that all paperwork is filled in correctly and the PDA used at every drop.

Report immediately any malfunctions or faulty PDA to the immediate line manager or IT Manager.

To follow the company procedures in relation to parts being returned by the customer.

To ensure all returned parts are labelled for ease of identification and correctly wrapped to reduce the possibility of damage.

To be aware of all risk assessments associated with the daily duties.

To ensure all safe operating procedures relevant to your job role have been read and understood.

To report any hazards at once to the supervisor or manager.

Wear the personal protective equipment and keep it in good repair.

To ensure that the correct fuel is put into the delivery vehicles, all delivery vehicles are Diesel.

Keep the delivery vehicle clean and tidy at all times and washed every Friday.

To co-operate with all supervisors and management at all times.

Always ensure the load of the parts inside the vehicle is checked and restacked after each delivery, ensuring that the parts are safe and will not move when the vehicle is in motion.

All paperwork, returns and monies are checked and signed for by a member of management on your return to the depot.

Carry out all other duties commensurate to the role and level of responsibility.
