Electrical Engineer - Chester - Cheshire
£36,000 - £40,000 per annum - Depending upon experience + Pension + Healthcare
4on 4off Shift Pattern - 6am - 6pm
The opportunity:
We are looking for a versatile and self-motivated individual, who will be part of a busy engineering to support the smooth running of a fast paced manufacturing site in Chester.
Job description:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role will be to support the maintenance and repair of manufacturing lines and equipment to minimise downtime and maximise operating effectiveness and efficiency.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Your routine duties may vary, but will be expected to:

- Completion of all routine maintenance, in line with the agreed site plan;
- Repair and maintenance of the plant and its equipment, to ensure faults are identified quickly and production downtime is minimised;
- Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes;
- Ensuring all duties are undertaken in line with current health & safety legislation.
Skills and experience:

- An experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias would be preferable but not essential
- Proven track record within a fast-paced production environment;
- Conversant with PLC's;
- Proactive and can-do attitude;
- Flexible approach to working hours is essential
