**About the role**

The Business transformation and data strategy team at Arval UK is evolving. As Lead Business Analyst you will be leading in the data domain - so be classed as our Data Product Design Lead, Business Analysis will be at the core and is extremely vital to thedelivery of the Data Strategy.

You will be taking the lead on Business Analysis as well as managing a team, including a business analyst and two data engineers. As vital members of any enterprise data function, you will responsible for gathering user stories and leading collecting sufficientdetail to populate the product backlog.

You will work with all functions in our business and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively is essential. You will identify gaps in business needs by liaising directly with internal stakeholders. You will get to the grass roots of the businessneed, understand their problems, documenting the findings in user stories and specifications. You will work closely with our Data Delivery Lead to turn these requirements in to robust business data solutions demonstrating business understanding and offeringa solution that fits in line with company & data strategy.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for executing Business Analysis and Data Product Design requirements across Arval UK. This will include but not limited to:

- Proactively identifying opportunities for data solutions to better meet the business and customer needs
- Ensuring changes have met customer expectations - Delivery is practical, robust and in line with Data Strategy
- Build and develop positive relationships with all internal and external colleagues
- Contribute to, influence and help shape the UK Data Strategy Product Roadmap
- Cross function collaboration

This includes a basic salary of upto £55,000, plus additional bonus potential of upto £4,600, plus car allowance of £5,500 per annum (£458 pcm).

Starting salary is dependent on previous skills and experience.

**About You**

As Data Product Design lead you must enjoy data visualisation and working closely with development teams and Agile Sprint methodology.

You must be able to work with stakeholders at all levels within the business and to make the complex simple, finding effective solutions that can be implemented and have longevity. You must be able to transfer these requirements in to understandable userstories and specifications. Additionally, you will be a self-motivated independent worker and fast learner and will be open to using new tools and systems.

**Essential skills required**:

- Confident communication skills - written and oral
- Business Analysis - Requirements gathering and specification production
- Business Intelligence (BI)
- Data Visualisation - Experience of Tableau would be extremely beneficial.

**Desirable skills**
- People management
- Experience in running workshops
- Knowledge of leasing
