- Job Advert Description**OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB**:
To provide a comprehensive business support for the Head of Commissioning and the Partnership and Funding Officer to support the delivery of the Commissioning Framework and the priorities set out in the Police and Crime Plan.

To provide support for the senior management team in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, as directed by the Chief Executive and Head of Commissioning, providing timely briefings on commissioned services.

To assist the Head of Commissioning with the management of contracts, funding arrangements, grant agreements and support the Partnerships and Funding Officer with the scrutiny of commissioned services.

To work in partnership with our commissioned services, and other key stakeholders, to collect, analyse and monitor the comprehensive reports and data submissions required by commissioners for a variation of grant agreements and contracts, identifying any areas of concern and highlighting to senior management.

**MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE**:

- Ability to use own initiative to problem solve and development methodology.
- A pro-active/self-motivated approach with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines, responding positively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, commensurate with the requirements of the role.
- Good administrative and organisational skills evidencing attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and contacts.
- Ability to business plan and monitor performance against objectives.
- Ability to provide well written reports in a timely manner.
- The post holder may be required to work occasional unsocial hours and should have flexibility and access to reliable transport to meet this requirement.
