**Warehouse Operative**

We are hiring Warehouse Operative roles for a well known Banbury based food manufacturing site

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for picking ingredients and packing them into customer's boxes, as well as other general warehouse duties. You'll be working closely alongside the Line Leaders ensuring accuracy and efficiency on the line.You will also be expected to maintain excellent standards of packing quality, food hygiene and health and safety

**Shift Patterns for our Warehouse Operative role**:

- Working hours Thursday to Sunday, 4 days 42 hours a week.
- Day shift 06:30-18:30 (Two 45 min breaks)

**Salary**
- Day shifts: £10.15 per hour
- Night shifts: £12.18 per hour
- **£200 sign up bonus** - 8 weeks of work attending all shifts without failure need to be completed before bonus is paid

**Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative will include**:

- Picking and packing food products
- Maintain the uninterrupted flow of the production line
- Work in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments
- Keep the warehouse clear and ensure any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently
- Support with goods in/out and stock control
- Escalate any problems to your Line Leader
- Comply with Food Safety Regulations and quality standards
- Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards

**Successful Warehouse Operative requirements**:

- Keen eye for detail
- Able to work weekends
- Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work
- Excellent team working and communication skills
- Energy, enthusiasm, positive, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
- You will be required to wear safety shoes at work. We advise you to also wear, layers of clothes, a hat, and gloves.
- You need to be able to pack pork and alcohol products
