We have an exciting opportunity for **Transport Co ordinator** to join us at our brand new Depot in **Winwick, Warrington**.

This role will cover rotating shifts covering days, lates and nights, but can vary depending on time of year and workloads.

**Could the Transport Co Ordinator be you?**

**What will you do in the role?**
- Brief and debrief drivers to ensure that all instructions for their allocated runs are understood and actioned.
- Revise driver log sheets with the drivers, ensuring that defects raised during vehicle checks are completed and all accidents/damage reported daily.
- Ensure all key vehicle information is kept up to date on the system.
- Downloading of information from digital tachographs
- Monitoring & managing information from the vehicle telematics system (where appropriate)
- Update electronic Transport Management System
- Ensure that every worker is fully compliant with legislative requirements
- Ensure that operational procedures and general housekeeping are kept to a high standard
- Supporting the Depot Transport team with certain H&S responsibilities e.g. yard walks, vehicle checks

**What skills/qualifications are required?**
- You will need experience of collating reports on Driver information including Digi tachographs, Health & Safety for site and for Drivers
- Experience of route optimisation and problem solving would be useful as our Transport Shift
- Fully PC literate, you’ll be able to use Windows and MS Office especially Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Our Co ordinator is for someone who understands how to motivate and can efficiently prioritise pressing needs, where there isn’t an obvious solution.
- Lateral and original thinking would be a benefit as would logistics experience and having worked in a busy Transport office
