We are looking for a Supervisor for our AM shift to join a fantastic team working in our 2nd warehouse Unit A.

As we are approaching peak period we are offering a Peak enhancement incentive which means we are increasing the rate of pay by £1 per hour for the months of October
- December.

**Role Summary**
- The effective prioritisation of tasks based primarily on keeping people safe and business requirements.
- Maintain health and safety standards and promote a positive health and safety culture on site including completing Risk Assessments, reviewing Safe Operating Procedures and Incident Reporting.
- Plan and control the workload of your team to ensure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead, motivate and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Develop and maintain a highly productive workforce by encouragement and promotion of open communications, holding regular briefing sessions. Ensuring effective succession planning by development of the team.
- Management of productivity targets and control of accuracy errors to deliver excellent customer service.
- Drive continuous process improvement and implement change when applicable.
- Attend operational and site meetings as required.
- Complete accident/damage reports when required, following Company notification procedures.
- Complete payroll requirements and provide statistics for the purpose of monitoring departmental KPIs and performance of colleagues working for you.
- Investigate and carry out appropriate training/re-training/counselling/investigations and disciplinary/grievance procedures where necessary to avoid failure to reach targets or standards.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new colleagues. Carry out probationary reviews and ongoing performance reviews of staff against operational KPI’s.
- Monitor sickness and absence of your team through counselling sessions and Return to Work Interviews.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping to a high standard on site.
- Assist in the counting of stock when required.

**Salary**: £25,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
