**HEAD OF GROUNDS**

Summer Fields is a boarding and day school for approximately 330 boys aged 4 to 13 years. The school benefits from some of the very best facilities in the independent sector and is situated in a quiet estate less than two miles from the centre of Oxford. Summer Fields has always held a strong academic tradition and each year boys pass Common Entrance and regularly win major scholarships to the top public schools in the country.

Reporting to the Bursar and liaising closely with the Director of Sport (with regards to sporting fixtures and pitch use) you will work with and manage a small team of grounds staff ensuring the cost effective delivery of seasonal grounds maintenance schedules. This is a “hands on” position and you will be expected to personally carry out tasks as part of the team in addition to having management and administrative responsibilities.
