**Apprentice AAT Opportunity**

This is an office based role and key responsibilities will include:

- Data entry for client bookkeeping
- Preparation of accounts and VAT returns from client records
- Payroll and auto enrolment administration
- Preparation of tax returns
- General assistance in Administration in the Finance Department
- Acting as a point of contact for customers/suppliers and other colleagues on a day to day basis.
- Processing customer invoices
- Processing supplier invoices/reconciling monthly statements
- Manage/resolve queries

You will need to be capable of working on your own initiative, have a positive attitude to work, with excellent written, numerical and communication skills

You will have achieved a basic concept of accountancy, particularly in respect of sole trader and small businesses, and part of your training will be classroom-based studying for Level 3 or 4 AAT qualification.

The Accounts Apprentice’s role is an excellent opportunity to join the highly successful accountants practice, contributing to and delivering high levels of service.

Salary will be and in line with the apprentice rate. Increasing with successful completion of AAT qualifications and as experience is gained.

**Salary**: From £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
