**Welder Fabricator**

£28,000 - £32,000 p/a (dependent on experience), Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm/3pm finish on Fridays, 20 days annual leave + Christmas shutdown + bank holidays, Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Pension, Parking.

We are delighted to be working with a well-established client and local business who are looking to recruit a Fabricator and Welder, experienced in TIG and MIG welding. Core duties will include:

- MIG and TIG welding and general fabrication.
- Welding of thin gauge steel and stainless steel.
- Setting up and operation of fabrication machinery such as Press Brake, CNC Saw and Fire Laser.
- To read and interpret manufacture drawings supplied by the Fabrication and Design Departments.
- To work with internal departments to problem solve and assist coordination activities to support projects.
- Ensure all works are processed safely effectively, efficiently and to a high standard to meet quality control measures.
- Ensure the fabrication area remains tidy and organised.
- Monitor the quality of output and assist with quality control investigations and improvement activities to ensure an ongoing culture of continuous process improvement.
- Complete any paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.

**Requirements**:
Competency within a range of welding and fabrication activities including MIG and TIG welding, stainless steel, steel and aluminium. Experience of Press Brake operation and Fire laser cutting. Good engineering problem solving skills. Knowledge and understandingof manufacture drawings and tolerancing. Forklift licence would be desirable. Team player with the ability to work with people at all levels.
