**Introduction**:
Our client has an amazing opportunity for Procurement & Commercial consultants to provide solutions to their external clients and act as an ambassador for their business. The Consultant will also be expected to help develop and grow their business by contributing to bids, developing new business propositions, or researching potential new markets.

As a Procurement Consultant, you will be part of a team working with their more senior and experienced Consultants, who will provide you with excellent training opportunities, on-going coaching, along with mentoring and peer support throughout your career.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver excellent results for their clients.
- Support on tenders for both internal and external clients.
- Engage with suppliers by facilitating workshops to understand the business needs, preparing tender specifications, working with client legal advisers, engaging with suppliers, co-ordinating tender evaluation and supporting clients in negotiations.
- Providing contract management, supplier management or commercial advice to clients.
- Contributing to the development of their tools, techniques and methods that can be shared to build capabilities within their Procurement & Commercial Consulting team, and Business & Digital Consulting practice.

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience reporting and presenting to a range of client stakeholders.
- CIPS accreditation or similar is highly desirable.
- Experience of contributing to the sale of management consulting work - including bid development and presentations is desirable.
