I am currently recruiting for a Housing Solutions Officer with a local council within the East Midlands area.

The role will require individuals to do the following within their day-to-day role:
Assist with backlog of homeless cases and decision making.
Creating effective PHPs.
Moving cases to the correct stage on the Jigsaw system in accordance with homelessness legislation.
Speaking to customers, landlords, homeowners to establish facts and circumstances that led to their homelessness.

This role does require applicants to have the following experience:
Experience of making homeless decisions under the legislation.
Experience of conducting assessment interviews alongside negotiating and mediating with landlords, parents, and other providers.
Knowledge of the Housing and Homeless Legislation, writing S184's and PHP's.

The role is 37 hours per week on a 12-week contract.
This is a hybrid role that offers both the ability to work from home and in the office.
