The school is looking for an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to work in this amazing secondary school working with pupils and supporting them throughout their daily school life.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will bring a passion for learning and who will be a supportive and enthusiastic presence for the pupil.

**The Role**

**As a teaching assistant you will**:

- Work in small groups with pupils with additional learning needs
- Supporting pupils in their everyday school life
- Assisting the pupils in accessing the curriculum
- Get to know the pupils and learn how to support them academically, socially, and personally
- Discuss and put into action strategies to support the pupils with the teacher
- Assist pupils in making progress not only academically but also socially and personally
- Will be enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring
- Will have experience working within an educational setting
- Will have an understanding of how to support children with additional learning needs
- Will have a good command of the English language
- Will have a minimum of 3 months of relevant experience
- Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities discussed with the teacher
- Additional qualifications are desirable but not essential.
