**Donald Russell** is a quality food business with a rich heritage in butchery based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

With three key arms to our business, we have been supplying hotel and restaurants groups in the UK since 1974 including Malmaison, Hotel Du Vin, 63rd, La Relais de Venise and The Goring to name a few. Our trade export arm exports to markets around the world including Europe and Asia, and we have been selling direct to consumers via our website for almost 30 years.

**Qualifications**
- Valid UK driver's license

**Duties**
- Load and deliver Donald Russell products using the company vehicle provided.
- Responsible for ensuring the van has been loaded safely, ensuring the maximum weight has not been exceeded.
- Follow a delivery schedule, making on-time customer deliveries within a set delivery time window.
- Provide the highest level of customer service by assisting all customers in a pleasant and courteous manner, answering questions and handling complaints professionally.
- Ensure paperwork is properly completed with signatures on delivery.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks using the pre-startup check sheet, immediately reporting any faults or concerns to management.
- Abide by all transportation laws, maintaining a safe driving record.
- Maintain regular contact with Donald Russell colleagues.
- Adhere to contingency plan procedure in the event of an emergency breakdown.
- If trained; operate a forklift, pallet truck or other warehouse equipment in a professional and safe manner.
- Maintain company vehicles to ensure they are clean and orderly at all times.
- There may be a requirement to use an electronic device equipped with GPS, intended to track and record your daily deliveries.
- Miscellaneous general operative tasks as required.

**Skills**
- Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures and transportation laws
- Safe and competent driver
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills

**Experience**
- Adequate driving record (no more than 6 penalty points and no previous DUIs)
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred
- Previous experience within a food dispatch environment preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
