Ann’s Care Homes, which was originally established in February 2020, now have a property portfolio of 23 Care Homes across Northern Ireland.

**Position Summary**

Due to ongoing growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Yard Operative to join our well-structured team within Ann’s Care Homes. Based at our busy head office yard just outside Portadown, the Yard Operative will be responsible for the organisation of all Care Home stock orders while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are achieved.

Duties will include loading and unloading of deliveries, sorting and segregation of all deliveries, prioritising order forms and ensuring each order is dealt with in a timely manner, keeping yard/store area clean and tidy in line with health and safety, organising yard to maximise space in the store, assistance in maintenance of the homes which include covering maintenance staff when on leave, removing and delivering items from the different homes and other maintenance duties as they arrive as well as other general yard duties.

**Essential criteria**
- Demonstratable understanding and knowledge of experience working within a similar position
- Good organisational skills and able to work on own initiative
- High level of Health and Safety awareness
- Good communication skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Stable Work History
