**Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.**

Buile Hill Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Education Welfare Officer to join our team.
- Help families improve their children’s access to learning and enable all children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities, especially those vulnerable groups that may need additional support
- Identify those children in need of support by reason of their behaviour, absence from academy, family dysfunction, disability, social or emotional needs or any other special educational needs
- Assess needs, plan interventions, implement effective action and evaluate outcomes against agreed objectives.
- Assist the academy to safeguard students through joint work with partner agencies.
