Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of psychological assessments and interventions, working with individuals, groups, or families.
- Support the design and implementation of care plans, behaviour management strategies, or therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct psychological research, audits, or service evaluations to inform practice and contribute to service development.
- Collect, analyse, and report psychological data to support case formulation and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring adherence to data protection regulations and professional guidelines.
- Deliver psychoeducation sessions and wellbeing workshops as directed by supervising psychologists.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to support coordinated care.
- Engage in professional development activities, including supervision, training, and reflective practice.

Person Specification

Essential:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS.
- Experience in a clinical, educational, or research setting involving psychological work.
- Knowledge of psychological theories, principles, and evidence-based practices.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with diverse client groups.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable:

- Prior experience in a similar role or setting.
- Training or experience in delivering therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, mindfulness, or group therapy).
- Familiarity with psychological testing or assessment tools.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Pay: £24,929.00-£27,946.00 per year
