**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Holiday cover for other drivers when needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation.
- Completion of paperwork to minimum company standard.

**Requirements**:

- For insurance purposes we require drivers to be a minimum of 25 years of age.
- Valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points on licence; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- A clear understanding of the rules of the road and to habitually abide by them.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- A can do positive approach to work.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed, including weekends, evenings and holidays is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour
