**Senior Clerk of Works**

A leading, award-winning multi-disciplinary with offices in London and Birmginham are now seeking a Senior Clerk of Works to join them based from their Jewellery Quarter office.

**The Company**

The senior clerk of works will join a multidisciplinary that offers services across: Architectural Design, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Health and Safety, Sustainability and more. A large amount of their projects is within the social housing andeducation sector, although they cover: Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Education, Healthcare

**The Senior Clerk of Work Responsibilities**

The Senior Clerk of Works will be working on various projects, including cladding remediation, high risk buildings.

Further responsibilities of the Senior Clerk of Works include:

- Inspecting sub-contractor works
- Reporting non compliance
- Preparing reports
- Task allocation
- Tracking using Fieldview
- Maintaining progress of works, delays, unsatisfactory works, visitors to site and weather - weekly
- Recording details of any circumstance that may cause delays
- Inform Project Manager of said delays
- Submit queries on drawings and specifications to PM
- Providing practical advise
- Evaluate drawings during pre-construction phase

**Ideally the Senior Clerk of Works will be**:

- ICWCI or RICS accredited
- Prior experience with cladding remediation in high risk buildings
- Experience with Fieldview
