**Job Overview** **About the Role**

We’re looking for an experienced **Ductwork Estimator** to join a successful and growing mechanical contractor specialising in large-scale commercial projects across London.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed ductwork estimates and tenders for large commercial projects.
- Take off quantities and prepare material and labour costings using **Ensign estimating software**.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain and analyse quotations.
- Review specifications, drawings, and tender documents to ensure accurate scope coverage.
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to develop value engineering solutions.
- Maintain tender documentation, ensuring all estimates are delivered accurately and on time.
- Support handovers to project delivery teams, providing clarity on pricing and scope.

**About You**
- Proven experience as a **Ductwork Estimator** within the **mechanical or HVAC sector**.
- Strong understanding of duct fabrication, installation, and airside systems for **large commercial builds** (e.g., offices, hospitals, data centres, or retail).
- **Proficient in Ensign software**, with the ability to complete detailed take-offs and costings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative estimating team.
