**Key Requirements**:To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A good standard of education, including proficiency in maths and English.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Proven experience in a similar environment.
- A professional and customer-first approach.
- The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.

**Key Responsibilities**:As a Branch Assistant, your main duties will include:

- Keeping up-to-date with company sales initiatives and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Receiving, sorting, stacking, and storing goods for orders and deliveries.
- Accurately processing order requests and picking orders in a timely manner.
- Checking and packing orders for internal and external customers.
- Serving customers at the trade counter, adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols.
- Updating internal IT systems and using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Providing competitive quotations and following up on customer orders.
- Sourcing and ordering non-stocked items from other branches or suppliers.
- Professional communication with customers and suppliers via telephone.
- Undertaking driver duties if required.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
- Participating in relevant training programs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Assisting in other warehouse functions and processes.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Full UK driving licence is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
