Machine Minder Twilight

We have an exciting opportunity for Machine Minders with good mechanical reasoning to support our expanding site in Ashbourne**: Machine Minder
** Monday to Friday - 13:45 - 22:15 or Monday to Friday - 16:45 - 01:15 - depending on the area of production

: from £13.06 per hour - depending on shift and the area of production
- To set up the machinery ready for production; make a thorough check of all process machinery, ensure all guards are in place and functioning correctly and in a safely manner
- To work in a manner which ensures Quality and Hygiene standards are maintained in the production environment.
- To ensure the correct product and equipment is available prior to start up so that the line is ready to commence production at the appointed time.
- To continuously monitor the machinery and the quality of the product and to liaise with QA when appropriate.
- To ensure wastage of product or materials is kept to a minimum by making sure machinery is set up properly and baskets/dolavs are positioned appropriately along the line.
- To inform Engineers of any issues to machinery as a result of a breakdown or which could result in a breakdown.
- To report any health and safety issues to your immediate manage and to report any accidents or near misses to the first aider in the area.
- To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within your area and across the wider business, e.g. reduction of waste, recycling, etc.
- A good Level of the English Language.
- Successfully complete an internal basic skills test in Numeracy, Judgement and Perception.
- Good Manual Dexterity.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
