**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Senior Trade Sales person, based within our Liverpool depot.

Good product knowledge of timber and building materials is preferable.

Experience in telephone selling and customer service is also needed.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Supportingthe Branch Manager in their absence, motivating and engaging the team or coaching the team to grow sales and achieve targets.
- Providing a great customer experience - coaching the team to do the same.
- Asking questions and building relationships**.** Making sure our customers leave the branch with everything that they need for the job.

As a senior trade sales person, you will assist with the day-to-day management of the branch, working alongside the Branch Manager you will help to drive forward the sales and profitability of the business.

This is a keyholder role and you may be required to open or close the store when necessary.

**Experience**

Have good working knowledge of selling all types of building materials with the ability to trade and build strong relationships with customers.

Have a good awareness and understanding of the local market place and its competitors.

Have a positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise and work flexibly to meet the needs of the depot.

The ability to maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

**Hours of work**:
Between the hours of 7.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday - 1 in 2 Saturday’s 8.00 am to 12.30pm.
