**Drilling Systems is currently looking to recruit a Project Technical Lead on a permanent contract located in Bournemouth, UK.**

**The Role**

We are looking for a talented Project Technical Lead to oversee the rollout, upscaling, and continuous improvement of a recently launched project.

In this role you will be required to take a hands-on approach to manage the coordination and delivery of project output, and to ensure the quality and effectiveness of solutions and the delivery process.

Our blended learning platform uses innovative eLearning, micro-learning and world-leading simulation technology in one seamless environment to raise the standard in well control. Our continuous learning and knowledge retention platform allows personnel to access self-paced learning at their home, office or work site.

The system provides a range of learning and simulation competency development exercises and associated quiz content.

This role will best suit someone with the experience and knowledge to identify areas of improvement and suggest necessary adjustments to the development or business process. Experience with or knowledge of the following would therefore be advantageous:

- Agile/Scrum methodology
- QA with Jira and TestRail
- CI/CD workflow using the Atlassian toolset
- Cloud development and deployment
- Automated deployment and update of apps

To facilitate effective communication with customers, support staff, testers, and other developers, the role will also require strong organisational and personal skills including:

- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies on the job
- Analytical mindset
- Problem solving skills
- Communication skills
- Self-motivation
