**What's the opportunity**

Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager Body Structure, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction and the commercial management of some of the Body Structure commodities (ie: Stamping) in line with the global Forseven Strategy created by a Senior Buyer already in position.

**What you will do**:

- Developing maintaining commodity strategies for a specific range of suppliers
- Supporting and managing the negotiation and completion of Production Supplier Contracts within the commodity area following alignment with the Senior Buyer.
- Partnering with Engineering, Quality and other support functions to develop the supplier strategy and ensure we are using the leveraging with best technology, cost and quality.
- Conducting and evaluating assessments of potential Suppliers and work with the Engineering Partner on the creation of Sourcing recommendations.
- Developing and maintaining supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and risk management
- Ensuring that the Supplier can fulfil Programme targets, including timing, cost, quality, technical attributes.

**Who you are**:

- Procurement/Purchasing experience within manufacturing/production-based environment (desirable)
- Exposure and experience in negotiation
- Strong influencing skills with experience of creating and maintaining networks across all levels of the business
- Understanding in developing structured commodity strategies
- Basic understanding of QAF analysis
- Eager to learn from Experienced Senior Buyers
