**Café Supervisor Job Description**

**Job Summary**

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining our excellent company standards within our cafes, help supervise staff, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your role will mainly involve communicating with your peers to help deliver exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**
- Help oversee all aspects of café operations, which include food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
- Train and mentor team members in food preparations, customer interaction and service.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor site wastage and reporting
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- ensuring all company standards and procedures are followed and adhered to on a daily basis.
- Reporting to Café Management daily

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a Supervisory / Managerial position within a hospitality setting.
- Strong background in customer service
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations.
- Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail is a must.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required.

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bar management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
