Partnership & Strategy Lead

As the holder of this newly created role, you will be responsible for driving the business agenda, representing the organisation and leading on the development of strong partnership working between the provider and other entities.
You will have the opportunity to hold a key role at a very exciting time for this prestigious NHS provider. You will lead on the development and assessment of business opportunities, in line with strategic objectives, as well as developing tender bids, options appraisals and influencing strategic direction. You will work up business cases, with appropriate financial reasoning and showing return on investment. You will lead on bringing these opportunities to fruition and working collaboratively with various parts of the organisation such as the Project Management Office, Finance and HR in order to develop sound business plans to underpin the opportunity.
The post holder will:
- Work with the executive team, supporting the development and delivery of the overall business objectives
- Work with the Executive Team to translate the strategic objectives for growth into tangible routes of opportunity underpinned by sound business planning.
- Increase the market share and contribute to the achievement of an agreed income generation target.
- Collaborate with all employees to ensure business objectives and key projects are communicated to them and understood at all levels of the organisation.
- Coordinate the scanning of various portals for tender opportunities, updating the Executive team on a regular basis with an assessment of suitability.
- With the Director of Operations, lead on key bids and tenders, bringing together the skills and expertise in the organisation to create values-driven, financially sound propositions.
- Work with the relevant teams to ensure new opportunities are fully assessed to ensure commercial viability, and work closely with the Finance & People Directorates to undertake due diligence as required.
- With the executive team and the wider Board, develop the annual plan and annual report, focusing on key achievements.
- Prepare and present reports to the Board of Directors to inform them about progress towards achieving the companies vision and strategic aims and about specific key business issues.
**Knowledge And Experience**
Significant experience working directly to an Executive Director in Health, Social Care, Charity or Social Enterprise
A proven ability to formulate business strategy and influence stakeholders with the ability to impact on that strategy.
A commitment to system excellence as well as organisational excellence.
A commitment to close working with health and social care partners in Cheshire & Merseyside
Experience of managing complex programmes of change.
Experience of managing the development of complex business cases.
Experience of commissioner decision making and consultation processes.
Experience of developing effective partnerships with NHS and non NHS bodies. Wider NHS and health context
A good understanding of the dynamics of the NHS and the values of the UK public sector
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
