**Job Title**: Young People Support Worker

**Shift’s Available**: 20:00 to 08:00

**Rate of pay**: Starting from £9.00 per hour

We are looking to hire experienced Support Worker’s or Youth Workers for working Night shifts.

We offer Support for young people aged 16-18, who may have had difficult backgrounds.

Each service is specialist to support Young People whom may have experienced Mental Health, CSE, CCES, Grooming, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, County Lines, Anger Issues or Self-Harm etc.

There are numerous sites in and around Bradford, Shipley and Keighley, housing up to a maximum of 4 Young People in each home.

We provide high quality placement accommodation and support for vulnerable young people aged 16- 18 to meet their individual needs, support their transition to living independently.

We require Support workers to be inspiring role models in helping to make that difference through mentoring and support in giving our young people hope to meet their aspirations.

Our leaving care programme is to meet the needs of our young people and to guide them towards a positive independent living experience developing life skills along the way. Full training and further development is available to assist you develop your career.

All applicants will be expected to take further training and work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice.

Support workers must be non-judgmental, empathetic and understand the changing needs of young people leaving care and the challenges they face. You must have empathy, have excellent listening skills, be practical and flexible and able to respond to a variety of situations. This will require you to work demonstrating our ethos of patience, passion, persistence, partnership and diligence.

Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, Work one weekend in 2

Part-time hours: 36 per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 36 per week

Pay: £9.00-£9.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
COVID-19 considerations:
To keep staff safe as possible they will follow the Covid Risk Assessment.
Temperature to be taken daily and masks to be worn by Professionals visiting.
Staff tested weekly for Covid 19 and young people if symptomatic.
