Fitness Instructor

The Crown Hotel is a 61 bedroomed, Country House Hotel with Leisure Club in the Village of Wetheral approximately 6 miles north of Carlisle city center.

We are looking for reliable and engaging fitness instructors who can deliver an excellent level of service to our fitness team and leisure center users.

To work with us as a Fitness Instructor, you will need to hold a Level 2 Fitness qualification and have the ability to teach group fitness classes.

You will be at all times required to deliver outstanding service to our members and Hotel guests.

Main duties include:

- Carrying out fitness assessments, consultations and inductions with new clients.
- Showing clients how to use exercise machines and free weights.
- Supervising clients to make sure that they are exercising safely and effectively.
- Ensure the leisure club is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Delivering small group exercise classes
- Opening or closing the club, ensuring health & safety procedures are being followed.
- Monitoring Swimming pool participants
- Carrying out pool tests.
- Carrying out reception and cleaning duties.
- Assisting guests and members throughout their club visit.
- Membership sales.

You will need to be punctual, reliable and show a great work ethic.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sports & Fitness Instructors: 1 year (preferred)
- Personal Training: 1 year (preferred)

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
