- **What we offer**:_ A fantastic opportunity to become a Trainee Consultant and train in the area of Asbestos in order to progress within the company to a qualified Consultant. We will put you through your P403 and P404 qualifications, support you on a one to one basis with on the job training, give you a basic salary, company vehicle, and full benefits package including, profit share, heath care, pension and holiday plus a rise in basic salary once you are fully qualified and signed off.

**Title**:Trainee Consultant**

**Based at: Training in Bristol then covering Swindon, Oxford, Reading area.**

**The role and responsibilities**:
**MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE.**
- Commitment to train towards P403 & P404 qualifications
- Commitment to an intensive 3-6 month training period
- Learn how to take asbestos samples (known as bulk sampling)
- Learn how to conduct visual inspection and all elements of a 4 stage clearance, testing enclosures following asbestos removal by a licenced removal contract.
- Completion of site certification using electronic documents on a tablet
- Interact on site with different contractors
- Learn to understand risk assessments and method statements
- Conduct project management of asbestos removal work, overseeing the works, liaising with the removal contractor’s site supervisor.
- Knowledge of current legislation and guidance documentation
- Operate under our UKAS accreditation
- Be part of one of the largest environmental consultancies in the country
- Commitment to attend courses to attain the necessary qualifications
- Reliable, adaptable person
- A good team player who has a good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure
