Overview:
**MCL have an immediate vacancy for a Piping Layout Coordinator for our Oil and Gas client**

**Location**: The role will be based on 5 days a week in the client's offices in Leatherhead. Hybrid working possible with two days remote.

**Duration**: For an initial 6 month contract role with immediate start

**Rate**: Target Limited Company rate to man of circa £55.00 per hour

The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

**Responsibilities**:

- Additionally, the role entails coordination duties and design lead recommendations with other engineering disciplines such as Structural, Mechanical, Safety, Mechanical Handling and Process.
- The individual should have extensive experience in piping design and plant layout and be fully conversant with AVEVA E3D..
- The work will be conducted at various design stages ranging from FEED onto Detail Design. The project has recently begun the FEED phase.
- The position will require responsibility and a hands-on ability for modelling equipment, pipework, preliminary structure, and access routes.
- A sound knowledge of stress and support requirements within the routing of pipework is also essential.
- Regular duties will also include review of project documents, preparation, and involvement in presentation of project Model Reviews at multi-discipline level, checking of equipment layouts in FEED.
- TOTAL experience would be useful.
