PMO Support Officer

Overview:
This post is for a Project Support Officer who will form part of the Change Management Team within the wider Chief Executive’s Office. This role within the Project Management Office (PMO) will support the successful development and implementation of new products and processes across Disclosure Scotland. A proactive, positive approach and a high degree of personal resilience to manage both competing and changing priorities is needed to undertake this role. You will work across the team to ensure that change activity is planned, managed, co-ordinated and communicated to meet the needs of both our colleagues and customers.
You will need to respond positively to changing and emerging requirements and support our project teams in doing the same to ensure we meet our vision.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitoring and proactively managing the PMO mailbox and team work plan.
- Providing administrative and secretariat support for the PMO and a range of internal and external boards and meetings, including diary co-ordination, venue booking, agenda gather and minute taking etc.
- Supporting the Team in maintaining a robust Programme Management Office.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external colleagues, offering support and developing a strong Project and Programme Management culture.
- Assist in compiling data to ensure accurate, timely reports tracking project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals are drafted.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure effective reporting and escalation of any issues, risks, concerns or successes.
- Communications Liaison Officer for the Change Management Team.
- Contribute to the development of all associated spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs, requirements and progress.
- Providing support across the division as required.

2. Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment.
3. Experience of working on a project team or working knowledge of project management principals
4. Ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, and contribute ideas as part of a team, contributing to overall team performance.
