We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as an accounts payable assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all purchase transactions, ensuring that invoices are processed in a timely and efficient manner, and reconciling supplier statements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing invoices, credit notes, and other purchase-related documents
- Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Answer supplier queries in a prompt and efficient manner
- Maintaining accurate records of all purchase transactions
**You should be**:
- AAT qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
- Versatile, with a “can do” attitude.
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to work in a team
